Ashley Alvarado, public engagement manager for California Watch, will attend this community meeting and workshop aimed at gathering input for updating Coachella's General Plan and building healthier communities within the city, where some residents face environmental health hazards and suffer high rates of sickness. The workshop will be in both English and Spanish and is held in partnership with The California Endowment's Building Health Communities, Consejo de Federaciones Mexicanas en Norteamérica and other groups. Dinner and child care will be provided.
