Commonwealth Club: Panel discussion on efforts to reduce greenhouse gases
As part of a two-person panel, California Watch and Center for Investigative Reporting senior correspondent Mark Schapiro will participate in a discussion evaluating international efforts to reduce reliance on fossil fuels and their greenhouse gas emissions and possibly replace the Kyoto Protocol. Thomas Heller, executive director of the Climate Policy Initiative and a professor at Stanford Law School, will fill the other seat on the panel. Tickets are $20 for standard admission, $12 for Commonwealth Club members and $7 for students and can be purchased here.
