In 18 months Attorney General Jerry Brown has amassed an impressive campaign war chest. The frugal Brown has kept his spending down. His most recent campaign report, reflecting transactions through July 30, 2009, shows:
- $7.75 million raised in contributions.
- $425,000 spent so far.
- $641.35 reception at old Governor’s Mansion, where Brown lived as a child.
- $5 for companion ticket on Southwest Airlines for wife.
