California Watch reporters bought 30 jewelry items at five Rainbow and 5-7-9 stores in the Bay Area. The jewelry was screened by the Center for Environmental Health. Items found with high levels of lead were then sent to Forensic Analytical in Hayward for analysis. Here are the results for all 30 items.
