Crew leader Donnie Alan Thomas is accused of preparing fake invoices to the city for $235,000 in personal expenses, including a barbecue grill, cell phones, custom auto accessories and work on remodeling to his homes in Martinez and Danville. The billings described the items as “Enerpac hydraulic machine,” ”flexible braid jumper” and other names, investigators say.
