Bio

Lisa Pickoff-White is a web producer for KQED and a former multimedia producer for California Watch. She previously worked as a print, multimedia and radio reporter in the Bay Area and Washington, D.C. Her work has appeared in the Washington Post, San Francisco Chronicle, National Journal, KALX, Bay Guardian and UPI. She recently graduated from the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism with an emphasis in new media. She won the 2009 Online News Association Awards student competition and was a finalist at SXSW Interactive. She was also part of the Chauncey Bailey Project team that won two ONA awards and an IRE award.
