Alan Snitow
Bio
Alan Snitow is an award-winning, independent filmmaker and president of Snitow-Kaufman Productions in Berkeley, Calif. His recent documentaries include, “Thirst” (with Deborah Kaufman) on water privatization, “Secrets of Silicon Valley,” about underpaid high-tech workers, and “Blacks and Jews,” about inter-ethnic conflict. His book “Thirst” was published by Wiley and Sons in 2007. Before becoming a filmmaker, he was a television and radio news producer and news director. He is currently working on a film about Jewish identity in America.
