Bio
Amy Standen is a radio reporter for KQED's QUEST, where she covers science and environmental issues facing Northern California. Her stories appear frequently on NPR's Morning Edition and All Things Considered. A native of San Francisco, Amy was previously an editor at Salon.com and the editor of Terrain Magazine. She's also worked for Pulse of the Planet and the Kitchen Sisters, and is a founding editor of Meatpaper Magazine.
