Ariane Wu
Bio
Ariane Wu is a recent Fulbright scholar (2009-10) who was based in Beijing researching how online forums and microblogs influence Internet news consumption habits of Chinese youth. She is passionate about documentary filmmaking and has worked as a writer and video editor on a number of short films, including for the Asia Society, where, as a New Media Fellow, she helped produce videos about China’s environmental challenges. Ariane is a current student at the San Francisco School of Digital Filmmaking and has degrees in film studies and political science from UC Berkeley.
