Trey Bundy covers education for The Bay Citizen. He worked for 10 years as a residential treatment counselor with children from backgrounds of abuse and neglect. In 2009, he won the national Hearst Journalism Award for article of the year. His work has appeared in The New York Times, the San Francisco Chronicle, SF Weekly, Planet magazine and Razorcake magazine.
